The Three Investigators

There are three "simple" questions on this planet that matters in life.
1.Where am I coming from?
2.Who am I?
& 3.Where do I want to go next?

1. Where am I coming from?

The first question seems to be very simple for most of us - the answer is often geographical.
A country, a city, a house.
In reality the answer is way more complex.
In which culture was I born into? Who were my friends? How was i raised? How much freedom did i have? & "last but not least" which relationship did i have to my family?
Plenty of factors are important. Luckily, these factors aren't only the answer for the first question, they give the answer for a big part of the second one as well.

Who am I?

At this moment it doesn't only depend on our roots and surrounding anymore, but another important aspect affects our answer.
Decisions.
We decide every day who we are. We decide if we give up the first time failing, or if we laugh and carry on.
At the end, we have to look in the mirror and either be happy with what we see, or never look in a mirror again.

Where do I want to go?

So the last question is tricky, because you must have already answered the first two questions, to get to the third.
The porblem is, as older as we get, as often we get to  hear the last one, and as naturally the others expect an correct anwer.
The first time I unfortunately had to confront myself with this question, was when I turned 18 and finished school.
Do I want to go to uni? What do I want to study? What job do I want to get later on? and most important - What's the fastes way to earn some money?
I thought about that for hours and hours and suddendly I knew exactlly where I want to go next in my life.

Die 3 Fragezeichen.

Es gibt 3 Fragen auf dieser Welt, die das Leben von Jeden von uns bestimmen.
1. Wo komme ich her?
2. Wer bin ich?
& 3. Wo will ich hin?

1. Wo komme ich her?
Die erste Frage erscheint den Meisten von uns simpel - Die Antwort ist häufig geographischer Natur.
Ein Land, eine Stadt, ein Haus.
Tatsächlich kann die Antwort aber vielschichtig sein.
In welche Kultur wurde ich hinein geboren? Wer waren meine Freunde? Wie wurde ich erzogen? Wie viel Freiheit hatte ich? & "last but not least" Wie war das Verhältnis zu meinen Eltern.
Unendlich viele Faktoren spielen eine Rolle. Diese ganzen Faktoren beantworten aber nicht nur die erste Frage, sondern auch gleich einen Teil der Zweiten.

2.Wer bin ich?
An diesem Punkt kommt es nicht mehr nur auf unsere Wurzeln und unser Umfeld an, sondern ein anderer wichtiger Aspekt bestimmt, wie wir antworten.
Entscheidungen.
Wir entscheiden, wer wir sind und das jeden Tag. Wir entscheiden, ob wir den Sand in den Kopf stecken, oder über unsere eigenen Fehler lachen und weiter machen.
Wir entscheiden auch, ob wir einen fremden Menschen verurteilen oder ihm offen gegenüber treten. Letztendlich haben wir es also selbst in der Hand ob wir uns im Spiegel anschauen und lächeln oder gar nicht in den Spiegel schauen.

3. Wo will ich hin
Die letzte Frage ist die schwierigste, denn sie setzt voraus, dass man auf die ersten Zwei bereits eine Antwort gefunden hat.
Je älter wir werden desto häufiger wird Sie uns gestellt und desto selbstverständlicher erwarten Andere eine Antwort.
Als ich mich das erste Mal ernsthaft mit der letzten Frage beschäftigen musste, war ich gerade volljährig geworden und wurde mit der Schule fertig.
Will ich studieren? Was will ich studieren? Was will ich später arbeiten? & vor allem: Wie komme ich am schnellsten an Geld?
Nachdem ich lange und ausführlich darüber nachgedacht habe, hatte ich plötzlich DIE Lösung, wo ich im Leben hin will:
